Car ferries leave Piombino almost hourly for Portoferraio in the summer season. There are also daily ferries for Cavo and Rio Marina. The main shipping companies are Toremar, Blu Navy and Moby Lines.

Tickets can be bought online or through our hotel (we recommend pre-booking for Saturdays, even in low season). The crossing Piombino-Portoferraio takes one hour. A hydrofoil service (no cars) takes 40 minutes. Ferry timetable Elba Island Toremar Moby Lines
