Hotel Paradiso is located in the enchanting suburb village of Viticcio, along the 'Green Coast', renowned for the beauty of it's typical Mediterranean vegetation, crystal clear seas and spectacular sunsets, integrally part of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago facing Mount Capanne and the islands of Corsica and Capraia.

Built and owned since 1960 by the same family, each year, tastefully and lovingly restored, the new generation continue to run the hotel with the same professional courtesy assuring their guests a sense of wellbeing in a tranquil and informal ambience.

46 rooms: all with terraces, modernly refurbished, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, most with ceiling fans, all with air conditioning, heating 'off season', fridge, Sat-TV Lcd, telephone, and safety deposit box, almost all sea facing with independent entrances surrounded by trees and flowers.

Restaurant: panoramic and air conditioned - local cuisine with choice of delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Lounge-bar with sea facing veranda-terrace, informal, relaxing rendezvous offering inviting long-drinks, cocktails etc..

Beach: below the hotel, accessed by our private entrance, a small beach with crystal clear waters embraced by rocks, ideal for snorkelling with complimentary sun-beds at clients disposal during the summer season. Sun umbrellas (free of charge available in Reception) may be used around the island and returned on departure.
Around the area: the renowned white pebble beaches of Sansone, and Capo Bianco, also popular Enfola and Seccione-Prunini - all ideal for snorkelling. An awe inspiring 30 minutes walk via footpaths in the National Park accesses the busier seaside locations of Forno, Scaglieri and Biodola. Within walking distance Capo Enfola offers mooring buoys, a slipway, a jetty for dinghies and a well organised diving school. Buoys for our clients can be pre-booked on request. Rentals of boats, canoes, pedaloes, sun-beds and umbrellas.

For lovers of trekking and mountain bikes the area offers numerous pathways through the Mediterranean woods. A stroll to the Capo Enfola promontory to visit the abandoned tuna-fishing factory (presently undergoing restoration work) then continue the pleasant path up the hill and visit the National Park's "open air museum". Simple but relaxing pastimes!

Only 10 mins. by car Portoferraio - the island's capital city, 11.000 inhabitants - its old town centre a popular place for shopping and perusing the old churches, Napoleon's museum, art/ picture galleries, the Linguella museum and lots of other interesting things, only waiting to be discovered. As the Hotel Paradiso is situated in a privileged position, with a 20/30 minute car journey you can reach most island destinations.

Reception: our staff will be happy to assist you: boat trips, ferry tickets - cars, motorbikes, mopeds, mountain bikes and boats -can all be hired through them. Special prices at the 'Terme di San Giovanni' - mud baths and other treatments.

2010: the Hotel will re-open mid April and close in October.
